program overview

  • The Habitude Workflow

This topic gives participants knowledge of how to apply intelligent discovery techniques to understand what the drivers for the change are and how they manifest as an organisational strategy that can be developed into a program of change interventions and events that shift mind sets and align work activity.

We will teach you how to explore with business leaders:

    • WHERE they are going - What does their end state look like?

    • The 'WHY Context' - the rationale for change

    • WHAT specific design elements they need for the organisational design to be successful?

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Clarity of the drivers and motivation for the change

    • Understand the importance of immovable context that will influence how you build the design architecture

    • Clarity of how to develop appropriate organisational design plans that support strategic goals

  • The End State Articulation – Your Organisational Design Blueprint

We call the target organisational design - the end state. In this topic area we demonstrate how to build your blueprint, commencing with determining the required future capabilities and then determining the functions and sub-functions that would provide those capabilities.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Develop End State design blueprints – the key organisation design instructions

  • Transition Requirements

It is important to understand all aspects and characteristics (work activities and behaviours) of the end state to assess their impact on what currently exists and determine, what will need to change and how it will need to change.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Learn about the connections between behaviours and work tasks and how the fit together to achieve performance

    • Examine the different ways they can be adjusted to achieve business outcomes (your end state)

  • Capability Architecture

    • Core, Supplementary or Mastery Capabilities

    • Assess what level and scale of capability is needed to meet business performance requirements

  • Developing the Change Journey

Design the workflow of activity that will support the transition to the end state.

    Wants and Interests Management

Examine Stakeholder wants and interests. Learn how to prioritise and manage them. Build your change journey map to achieve people mobilisation and business readiness for the change.

    Learning Outcomes:

    • Understand the difference between readiness and mobilisation and how to create an integrated program that achieves both.

    • Learn how to design engagement activity that is tailored for the textured landscape of stakeholder demands and needs.

  • Risk & Receptivity

Assess change risk through a receptivity and complexity lens and learn how they influence your design and implementation.

    Learning Outcomes:
